Anaswara Rajan is steadily carving a space for herself in Telugu cinema. The 23-year-old actress from Kerala recently made her Telugu debut with Champion, opposite Roshan Meka. However, the film failed to make an impact at the box office.
Despite the setback, Anaswara Rajan’s career trajectory in Telugu films appears to be moving in the right direction. She is currently part of director Venky Kudumula’s maiden production, Itlu Arjuna, where she is paired opposite newcomer Aniesh.
Even as the film remains under production, Anaswara has already signed her third Telugu project. Producer and distributor Dheeraj Mogileni officially announced a new film today, confirming Sangeeth Sobhan (“Mad” fame) and Anaswara Rajan as the lead pair. The project will be directed by Surya Pratap, who earlier delivered the successful “Kumari 21F.” The makers have also revealed that the film is slated for a theatrical release in October.
Anaswara Rajan was last seen in the Tamil film “With Love,” and with back-to-back signings across industries, she is fast emerging as one of the promising young actresses in South Indian cinema.
