The Telugu trailer of Dhurandhar 2 was unveiled today, and the response to its paid previews has been extraordinary across India. Advance bookings, especially in Hyderabad for the March 18 paid preview shows, are reportedly on another level.
According to trade estimates, advance bookings for the film’s paid previews across India have already crossed Rs 11 crore. If the trend continues at the current pace, the film is expected to touch the Rs 35 crore mark from previews alone, which would be a historic record.
At present, Pawan Kalyan’s “OG” currently holds the top spot. However, trade analysts believe “Dhurandhar 2,” including its Telugu version, could comfortably surpass these numbers.
Trade circles are closely monitoring the booking trends. The massive success of the first installment has already created huge anticipation for the sequel. Interestingly, the makers have not conducted promotional events or given media interviews yet, but the hype around the film has grown organically.
