Ramya Krishna is one of the most sought after actresses in South India for character roles. The actress who recently celebrated her 50th birthday is now playing mother roles in big-budgeted movies. Until two years ago, she used to charge Rs 5 lakhs for a call sheet. The producers have to pay her remuneration for the number of days she shot for a film.

The senior actress recently hiked her remuneration double, increasing it to the Rs 10 lakhs per day, a source revealed to us. Ramya Krishna feels that she deserves such high remuneration.
She is currently acting as mother to Vijay Deverakonda in Puri Jagannadh’s action thriller. She is also playing key roles in two Tamil movies, besides doing web dramas.
