The Telangana government has extended lockdown until May 7 but everyone’s pretty sure that the film shootings will not be allowed immediately as no one knows when this corona crisis will come to an end.
While all production houses have stopped filming from the third week of March, they are now hoping to resume from the second week of June. A source has informed us that all big production houses have already begun scheduling their shooting days mid-June.
The producers are hoping that the government may allow the shootings with the minimal number of crew from late June. There is an urgent need to begin the shootings as daily wage labor will suffer immensely without work.
Films that have stopped their shootings include Prabhas’s 20th film, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Acharya’, Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Vakeel Saab’, Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’, etc.
