Tamil superstar Vijay announced a whopping Rs 1.30 crore to coronavirus relief efforts. What’s interesting is that he has donated this money to all the states in South India besides contributing to PM-CARES Fund.
The ‘Bigil’ /‘Whistle’ star donated Rs 25 Lakh to PM-CARES fund and Rs 50 lakh to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Another Rs 25 lakh has been given to Film Employees Federation of South India to help the daily wagers of film industry. He has also given Rs 5 lakh each to Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Pondicherry Chief Minister’s Relief Funds and Rs 10 Lakh to Kerala CM Relief Fund.
Vijay’s films are now running successfully in all southern states. This is surely a noble act by Thalapathy Vijay. No wonder then that fans are trending #realherothalapathyvijay.
