Adivi Sesh recently spoke out amid the ongoing controversy surrounding actresses demanding an 8-hour work schedule and filmmakers criticizing the demand. While choosing not to comment directly on the Deepika Padukone and Sandeep Reddy Vanga dispute, Adivi Sesh set the record straight on how filmmaking actually works.
He emphasized that filmmaking does not follow a standard 9-to-5 routine or fixed working hours. According to him, industry professionals are well aware that shooting schedules can involve late nights, early mornings, and long hours during the day.
Adivi Sesh pointed out that many top actors and comedians often juggle multiple projects simultaneously, arriving on sets just for brief portions of the shoot before moving on. He clarified that there is no strict rule governing work hours in the industry.
Instead, it is a matter of mutual adjustment, where directors, producers, and actors coordinate schedules based on the demands of the shoot and personal commitments.
Adivi Sesh is currently working on the film “Dacoit”, which stars Mrunal Thakur and is slated for release on December 25, 2025.
