Gauthamiputra Satakarni closes record business in Guntur and Krishna

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s most-awaited 100th film ‘Gauthamiputra Satakarni’ that is being directed by Krish is a red hot movie in trade circles. The film is doing record pre-release business in Balakrishna’s career. It was already bagged by Nithin’s father Sudhakar Reddy and producer Sai Korrepati for Nizam and Ceded regions respectively.

Now the film’s business has been closed for Guntur and Krishna areas for record price too. Sources say Krishna district’s distribution rights were snapped up for Rs 3.60 Cr as non-recoverable amount (NRA). On the other hand, Guntur area fetched the producers a whopping Rs 4.50 Cr and it is also sold off on NRA basis. It seems that the film will be doing record pre-release business in Andhra.

‘Gauthamiputra Satakarni’ is in the last leg of shoot and it stars Shriya and Hemamalini as part of the lead cast. The film is scheduled for 12th Jan 2017 release.
