Geetha Arts buys a Malayalam film’s rights

Lately, all Malayalam films are being dubbed into Telugu to stream them on the ‘Aha’ digital app. The app doesn’t have much original content to boast of and heavily relies on dubbed movies. However, a couple of Malayalam hits skipped the radar of ‘Aha’.

Malayalam hits like ‘Ayyapanum Koshiyum’ (Pawan Kalyan and Rana are acting in the Telugu version) and ‘Kappela’ (being made in Telugu as ‘Butta Bomma’) are getting remade. Now, Allu Aravind’s Geetha Arts reportedly bought the remake rights of the critically acclaimed Malayalam movie, Nayattu.

Director Martin Prakkat confirmed that his film’s rights have been sold to Geetha Arts for the Telugu remake.
