Actor Gopichand has stepped into the space of action spectacles set against historical backdrops. His latest film, directed by Sankalp Reddy, falls in the same genre and has been titled “BharataVarsha,” with the tagline “Saga of Shula.”
The title video glimpse of “Bharata Varsha” was unveiled today, offering a peek into its grand scale.
Set in 642 AD, the glimpse opens in the land of Shula before diving into a riveting montage of high-octane action. Massive war sequences and fire-lit confrontations create a striking visual experience.
Sankalp Reddy, who earlier directed “Ghazi,” based on an Indian submarine and the Indo-Pak war, and later made the sci-fi drama “Antariksham,” is now exploring the historical genre with this film.
Gopichand undergoes a remarkable transformation for the role, embodying the spirit of a fierce warrior. Ritu Varma plays the female lead.
On the technical front, cinematographer Soundar Rajan, production designer Chinna, and music director Anudeep Dev aim to deliver a new cinematic experience. “BharataVarsha” is produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under the banner Srinivasaa Silver Screen and presented by Pavan Kumar.
