For almost one year, Venkatesh kept himself away from arc lights. He didn’t sign any movie last year after the release of ‘Gopala Gopala’ (2015). Reason? Venkatesh revealed that he wanted to cut down the films. “I have completed thirty years in the industry. I wanted to slow down as actor and do films occasionally,” he said.
But he couldn’t say no to when Maruthi came up with “Babu Bangaram”. I liked the script and changed my mind then. “I will not stop continuing acting. I may act till my son Arjun debuts as hero,” he revealed.
55-years-old Venkatesh debuted in ‘Kaliyuga Pandavulu’ in 1986. He is one of the most successful heroes in Tollywood.
