Is ‘Indian 2’ going to be two-parter?

“Indian,” also known as “Bharateeyudu,” was a milestone in both Kamal Haasan’s and Shankar’s careers. The 1996 film “Indian” dealt with corruption, and Kamal Haasan played both a freedom fighter and his corrupt son.

Shankar is now directing a sequel titled “Indian 2,” in which Kamal Haasan reprises his role. As the film neared completion, new information about it emerged.

According to recent reports, Shankar is also following the current trend of splitting mega-movies into two parts. “Baahubali”, “KGF”, “Brahmastra” and other blockbuster films established this trend. Shankar is also said to be considering splitting the film into two parts titled “Indian 2” and “Indian 3”.

However, we must await official confirmation from the director or producer.

The film, which is set to be released in 2024, also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, and Rakul Preet Singh in key roles. The film is being produced by Lyca Productions.
