Is ‘Mr. Bachchan’ better than the original?

Harish Shankar is frequently referred to as ‘remake Raja’. The majority of his films are remakes of other language movies, such as “Gabbar Singh” (a remake of ‘Dabangg’) and “Gaddalakonda Ganesh” (a remake of ‘Jigarthanda’).

His recent film, “Mr. Bachchan,” is also based on the Hindi smash “Raid.” Raj Kumar Gupta directed the 2018 Bollywood film, which featured Ajay Devgn in the lead role. Ravi Teja played Ajay Devgn’s part in the Telugu adaptation.

However, the “Mr. Bachchan” team claims that director Harish Shankar packaged the film in a more commercial fashion that appeals to Telugu audiences. They claim that his remake is a superior version of the original.

Harish Shankar, too, claims that he never remakes a film exactly as it is, but rather adds his own touch.

“Mr. Bachchan” is scheduled for release on August 15, 2024.
