Director Koratala Siva has a huge fan following. He is one of the few directors with 100% success rate. That too, he delivered four hits in a row with big stars. But all that glory is past. The debacle of ‘Acharya’ has put him in a spot.
‘Acharya’ didn’t get decent openings either. And the film was rejected on the second day itself. Siva can say that the film had suffered many delays due to COVID-19 and other external and internal factors. But that is not a solace for him.
He will be commencing #NTR30, NTR’s 30th film, shortly. However, it will not be easy for him. Simple reason: he will have to completely rely on NTR and his star power. Until now, his name was a huge selling factor. But the equations will change for #NTR30.
But being a writer, Koratala Siva can bounce back if he concentrates on the story and direction, and doesn’t get distracted from other factors.
