Ivana says she has no dream roles

Ivana, who rose to fame with the Tamil film ‘Love Today’, was initially set to make her Telugu debut opposite Ashish, but the project was shelved. Now, “#Single,” starring Sree Vishnu, marks her first official release in Tollywood.

With the film hitting screens on May 9, Ivana opened up about the project and her journey so far.

“I’m happy to be part of a film backed by the prestigious production house Geetha Arts. It was fun working with Sree Vishnu, Vennela Kishore, and Kethika,” she said. Talking about her character, she added, “I play Harishini, a very cheerful and pleasant person. Harini is a dancer, and I really enjoyed bringing her to life because I also love dance.”

Ivana also revealed that she learned Telugu for this film. “Single is a laugh riot that audiences of all kinds can enjoy. Its emotions will connect with everyone. I picked up Telugu on the sets,” she said.

While many actresses dream of playing iconic or fantasy roles, Ivana is clear about her approach. “I don’t have dream roles. I want to do characters that are relatable and rooted in real life. That’s all,” she stated.

Ivana began her career as a child actor, but she says it was only after the success of “Love Today” that she started taking acting seriously.
