Jaanu's disappointing show continues in the US

‘Jaanu’ won positive reviews and also is receiving good word-of-mouth in the Telugu states. However, the collections in the USA are disappointing. The openings for the film have been quite dull from the premiere show onwards. With each passing day, the collections are going down which is a sad sign.

The film collected $34,168 from the premieres on Thursday and $34,391 on Friday. On Saturday, the film made $52,869 and with this, the total is a mere $122K which is pretty less for a Samantha starrer. Only today’s collections will help as it is Sunday in the US.

As many of the overseas audiences have already accessed ‘96’, this film has had not an encouraging start and things are going to get even tougher. ‘Jaanu’ is the remake of the Tamil hit ‘96’. It starred Sharwanand and Samantha.
