Janhvi Kapoor receives mixed verdict for ‘Param Sundari’

Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra’s starrer “Param Sundari” hit the theaters today, and the reviews are out.

NDTV called it a mix of several Shah Rukh Khan films, while Bollywood Hungama mentioned it is just an “okay” watch. Other outlets too gave mixed reactions. While many critics found the film predictable, they praised Janhvi for looking ravishing on screen and delivering a sincere performance.

“She carries a quiet sincerity that works in her favour,” one critic noted.

Overall, Param Sundari, despite boasting the viral song Paradesiya, failed to create a storm at the box office. At the same time, it wasn’t outright rejected either, settling with a mixed response. It remains to be seen how the film will perform at the box office over this weekend.
