Jawaan a big flop, SDT career in trouble

Sai Dharam Teja who rose like a whirlwind with two back-to-back hits with ‘Pilla Nuvve Leni Jeevitham’ and ‘Supreme’ has now laded in big mess. Today, he is at his lowest point. His latest movie ‘Jawaan’ has turned into another dud.

Made with Rs 18 Cr budget, ‘Jawaan’ has failed to recover even half the amount from theatrical revenue. Even if the producers get 3 to 4 Cr from satellite rights (they are yet to be sold), the producer will be losing huge investment. This is one of the biggest duds in Tollywood this year and this is third consecutive flop for him in 2017 after ‘Winner’ and ‘Nakshatram’.

Earlier, he had a flop with ‘Thikka’ too. All in all, Sai Dharam Tej’s got four flops in a row. He needs to rethink where he has erred. Or it would be hard to recover back. With so many stars from mega family, young stars like Sai Dharam Tejare finding tough to get support from mega fans unless they come up with decent or watchable flicks.

Sai Dharam Tej is currently working in director V V Vinayak’s movie. Given the current ‘form’ of Vinayak, he needs to be worried or put in extraordinary efforts to deliver a hit. Hope the talented nephew of Megastar will bounce back in 2018.
