Jayakrishna Ghattamaneni, grandson of legendary actor Krishna and nephew of Mahesh Babu, was officially introduced as the lead actor of “Srinivasa Mangapuram” at a special event held in Hyderabad. The film, directed by Ajay Bhupathi, also marks the Telugu debut of Rasha Thadani, daughter of Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon.
The grand introduction event was held to coincide with the birth anniversary of Superstar Krishna. Addressing the gathering, Jayakrishna became emotional while speaking about his grandfather.
“It gives me immense joy to meet all of you on the occasion of my grandfather Krishna garu’s birth anniversary. To me, my grandfather is like God. I cannot express in words the love and admiration I have for him. I believe his blessings will always be with me wherever he is,” he said.
Rasha Thadani, who is making her Tollywood debut with the film, expressed her excitement about entering the Telugu film industry.
“I am absolutely delighted to make my Telugu debut with this movie. Working alongside Jayakrishna has been a wonderful experience, and I am looking forward to presenting this film to the audience,” she said.
