Rishab Shetty, who rose to nationwide fame with the Kannada blockbuster Kantara, continues to expand his pan-Indian presence. After completing the much-awaited sequel to “Kantara”, he signed his debut Telugu film “Jai Hanuman.” Now, the actor-director has taken up his second Telugu project.
This new film will be produced by Sithara Entertainments, known for backing big ventures across South Indian cinema. Staying true to their strategy of collaborating with top talent, they’ve onboarded Rishab Shetty for this ambitious untitled venture. The film will be helmed by Ashwin Gangaraju, who previously directed the critically acclaimed “Aakashavaani.”
The announcement poster features a masked Rishab Shetty standing with weapons strapped to his back, facing a battlefield. The intriguing tagline reads: “The land burned. A rebel rose.”
This bilingual project will be simultaneously shot in Telugu and Kannada, with a pan-Indian release planned in five languages.
