Keerthy Suresh married Antony Thattil last year after being in a relationship for 15 years. In Tamil Nadu, the first Deepavali after marriage holds special significance and is fondly called “Thala Deepavali.” Newlyweds are pampered by their families and showered with gifts on this occasion.
However, Keerthy Suresh and her husband decided to do things differently. The couple embarked on an adventurous road trip just days before Deepavali and celebrated their “Thala Deepavali” in a casual yet memorable way by lighting crackers.
Keerthy shared pictures from their celebration, showing the couple relaxing at a hotel and enjoying the festive spirit in comfortable outfits. She captioned the photos: “An impromptu, yet adventurous trip… Just to make it all up for Thala Deepavali.”
On the work front, Keerthy Suresh has signed her first Telugu film after marriage. She will be paired opposite Vijay Deverakonda in director Ravi Kiran’s rural adventure drama, produced by Dil Raju.
