Maa TV bags SGS for whopping amount

The satellite rights of ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ were sold to Maa TV for record Rs 13.5 Cr. This is second biggest amount paid to a Telugu movie after ‘Baahubali’. Rajamouli’s epic ‘Baahubali The Beginning’ was sold for Rs 14.5 Cr.

Pawan Kalyan’s two recent movies ‘Gabbar Singh’ and ‘Attharintiki Daaredi’ fetched high TRPs for the TV channels. So Maa Tv paid such hefty amount to snatch the rights.

On the other hand, ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ is going to have record benefit shows in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states. In Hyderabad city alone, nearly 10 screens have already been confirmed for these benefit shows on Thursday night (early hours of Friday).
