Manchu Lakshmi acting in Tharun Bhascker's direction

Tharun Bhascker is back in the game. He took a year’s break from direction to test luck as an actor. Having acted as a lead hero in recently released ‘Meeku Maathrame Cheptha’, he is now back to his first love – movie direction. Before directing another film, he is now completing a web series for ZEE5 App, a digital streaming company owned by the Zee group.

This web series stars Manchu Lakshmi as the main heroine. Touted to be a political drama, the web series is now under production. Lakshmi has slowed down in her acting assignments. 

On the other hand, Tharun Bhascker who has directed movies like ‘Pelli Choopulu’ and ‘Ee Nagariniki Emaindi’ will be directing a sports drama with Venkatesh later this year.
