It is now official that Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Acharya’ and Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Vakeel Saab’ are not going to hit the screens Sankranthi 2021. Both the movies are now looking for the summer 2021 window for release.
‘Acharya’ needs more than 60 percent of the portion to be shot. Even if the film’s shoot resumes in September or October, the film would not be readied for January 2021. Hence, the film has pushed its release plans to the next summer. ‘Acharya’ is Megastar Chiranjeevi’s first collaboration with director Koratala Siva who has delivered four blockbusters – ‘Mirchi’, ‘Janatha Garage’, ‘Srimanthudu’, and ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’.
‘Vakeel Saab’ can be completed in 30 days but Pawan Kalyan has made it clear that he will not join the shoot until corona cases completely come under control. So, producer Dil Raju is now looking for summer 2021 to get a release date.
‘Vakeel Saab’ is Pawan Kalyan’s comeback movie. It is being directed by Sriram Venu.
