Nadiya to pair up with Kamal Haasan?

Senior actress Nadiya is all set to play a lead heroine in a new film? If reports from the Tamil film industry are to be believed that she may get that chance now.

Kamal Haasan plans to take the project of ‘Papanasam 2’ (the Tamil version of ‘Drishyam 2’) very soon. Since Kamal Haasan doesn’t want to pair up with Gautami Tadimalla, his former companion in the sequel of ‘Papanasam’, the makers have suggested roping in Meena in her place. But Meena has been doing the same role in Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu versions. For a change, Kamal Haasan reportedly asked a new name. The makers have then suggested Nadiya’s name, it seems.

The Tamil version will also be helmed by Jeethu Joseph, the original ‘Drishyam’ series director.

Nadhiya played a cop’s role in the Telugu version of ‘Drushyam’ and ‘Drushyam 2’. It would be interesting for her to switch to play hero’s wife in the Tamil version.

Nadiya has never paired with Kamal Haasan until now. So if everything goes as per the plan, Nadiya may pair up with Kamal Haasan now.

Nadiya is currently acting as Varun Tej’s mother in ‘Ghani’.
