The HYDRA (The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring and Protection) officials initiated the demolition of ‘N Convention’ in Madhapur on Saturday. Popular star Nagarjuna Akkineni is the convention center’s owner.
The HYDRA destroyed it, allegedly because they had established the facility in the FTL zone of the lake.
The authorities came at the location in the early morning and commenced the process of demolishing the area. According to reports, the convention center encroached over the buffer area of Thummidikunta lake in Madhapur.
HYDRA’s aim to dismantle seized lake territories has led to the removal of the convention, a long-standing subject of dispute.
