Nani to be seen as Majnu?

Nani who came to the theatres as ‘Gentleman’ will now be entertaining as Majnu. Yes, you read it right! His next film is likely to be titled ‘Majnu’. The title is seriously being considered for his upcoming love story being directed by Virinchi Varma of ‘Uyyala Jampala’ fame.

Anandi Arts Creations is producing the film and it has two new heroines playing opposite him. Nani who who began his career as assistant director will be playing a reel-life AD in this film. In an interesting scene, we will be seeing Nani working on the sets of ‘Baahubali’ and Rajamouli will appear in a cameo.

But the movie is essentially a triangle love drama, hence ‘Majnu’ is the title being considered. ‘Majnu’ was the title considered for Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Premam’ but they kept the original Malayalam title.
