In the last eight to ten months, many Telugu films had skipped the theatrical window. Most of the films that were directly premiered on OTT space are small-budgeted movies. After Nani’s ‘V’ and Anushka’s ‘Nishabdham’, Venkatesh starrer ‘Narappa’ is the major Telugu film that is premiering on OTT.
‘Narappa’ will begin streaming on Amazon Prime Media later tonight. The film will be available for audiences in over 200 countries.
A story of a father’s fight to protect his family, ‘Narappa’ is the official Telugu remake of Tamil blockbuster ‘Asuran’. In recent media interviews, Venkatesh said the film was the difficult one in his career. He said he had greater satisfaction in playing this challenging role.
If the film manages to win good reviews and positive responses from the audience, it will be considered a hit. Since there is no method to gauge the film’s overall impressions, getting favorable talk and reviews is important.
