Netflix set to stream OG for Diwali festival?

Pawan Kalyan’s “OG” clicked big in theaters, becoming the highest-grossing Telugu film of 2025 so far. It also joined the $5 million club in North America, setting a new record for Pawan Kalyan.

The film’s streaming rights were acquired by Netflix some time ago, and it is now set to stream later this month.

“OG,” directed by Sujeeth, was released in theaters on September 25.

As per the agreement, Netflix can stream the film 28 days after its theatrical release, which would ideally make it available on October 24. However, there is speculation that the platform might premiere it on October 21 to coincide with the Diwali festival. We will have to wait for an official announcement from Netflix.

The streaming giant usually does not announce premiere dates far in advance, often revealing them only a day or two before the debut.

“OG” features Pawan Kalyan as a gangster and Priyanka Mohan as his wife, with music composed by Thaman.
