Nikhil Siddhartha has sparked discussion on social media after taking an apparent dig at the growing use of AI-generated visuals in films.
The actor is currently starring in “Swayambhu”, which is slated for release in April 2026. The recently released teaser received a positive response, but a technical glitch on YouTube forced the team to reload a new version.
While sharing the updated teaser, Nikhil emphasized that “Swayambhu” did not use AI-generated graphics and that all visuals were crafted by the VFX team under the director’s supervision. His statement quickly caught attention, with fans speculating about which films he may have been indirectly referring to.
The film also stars Samyuktha and Nabha Natesh in key roles. Planned for release in eight languages, “Swayambhu” is being positioned as a pan-India project, and Nikhil is pinning high hopes on its nationwide success.
