Director Shankar faced the biggest flop of his career with “Game Changer,” starring Ram Charan, which hit theatres in January this year. It was also his first Telugu film.
His daughter, Aditi Shankar, also made her Telugu debut in 2025, starring opposite Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas in “Bhairavam,” where she played a village belle. Unfortunately, the film too bombed at the box office, marking debut flops for both father and daughter in Tollywood.
Aditi had hoped to establish her career in Telugu cinema, but after her first film’s failure, she has yet to receive another offer.
The young actress, who has acted in a couple of Tamil films, is also experiencing a slowdown in her home industry. Still, she remains optimistic about her future.
