NTR, Ram Charan invited to join Oscars Academy

The stars of “RRR,” NTR and Ram Charan, have been invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Every year, the organization awards the Oscars. On June 28, the academy offered invitations to 398 people to join its ranks this year.

Mani Ratnam and Karan Johar were also invited, as were “RRR” composer MM Keeravani, writer Chandrabose, cinematographer Senthil Kumar, and production designer Sabu Cyril. As a result, these Indian celebrities will be eligible to vote for the Oscars the following year.

NTR and Ram Charan received worldwide acclaim after their film “RRR” was nominated for an Oscar. Keeravani’s composition “Naatu Naatu” won the Oscar for Best Original Song, making history in Indian film.

For the past few years, the Academy has been sending invitations to Indian superstars as part of its effort to increase the diversity of its voting members. Earlier, Sooriya, Aishwarya Rai, Vidya Balan, and others were invited.
