Actor and politician Pawan Kalyan has condoled the death of Tamilnadu CM J Jayalalithaa. He said that her death is a great loss to the country and he is immensely grieved because of the passing away of the puratchi thalaivi.
Pawan Kalyan issues a statement, which read…
“I am extremely saddened by the death of the revolutionary leader and Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Dr J Jayalalitha. Like everyone else, I hoped that she will recover from her bad health. But she has left us devastated. For more than three decades, she left a great legacy in politics. Fondly called as ‘Amma’ by her people, she is a worshiped personality to whom the progress of the downtrodden was life breath. Her pro-poor welfare schemes are worthy of replication. She stood as the symbol of women’s power. Her death is a loss not just to Tamil Nadu, but the entire country. I mourn her death on behalf of Jana Sena Party.”
