Pawan Kalyan's complaint against BVSN Prasad

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan approached Movie Artistes Association (MAA) in relation to a certain pending amount from producer BVSN Prasad. Pawan Kalyan in his written complaint reportedly alleged that BVSN Prasad owes him nearly Rs 2 Cr. BVSN Prasad had produced Attarintiki Daaredi with Pawan Kalyan as lead hero under the direction of Trivikram in 2013. Although the film went on to become all-time blockbuster, it had faced problems before the release and at that time Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram came forward to help the producer.

Since then he has not cleared the pending amount to the tune of Rs 2 Cr, Pawan Kalyan told MAA. Since he has not heeding their request to clear the amount from long time, we have no option but to approach you in solving this case, he is said to have written in his complaint.

Upon receiving the complaint from Pawan Kalyan, MAA today forwarded it to Producers’ Council and the Council wrote a letter to BVSN Prasad for his reply. Prasad whose film Nannaku Prematho is due for release on13th January is now trying to resolve the issue.
