The massive popularity and viral success of “Chikiri Chikiri,” the first single from “Peddi,” have significantly boosted buzz around the Ram Charan–starrer. Composed by Oscar-winning music director A.R. Rahman, the song not only amplified expectations for the film but also left fans eagerly awaiting the next track from the album.
Initially, the makers had planned to unveil the second single on January 1, but the idea was dropped to avoid festive clutter. The team is now considering releasing the second single either just before Sankranthi or during the festive season.
The upcoming track is said to be a romantic duet featuring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, “Peddi” is currently under production, with the team racing against time to complete the talkie portions by the end of this month. The remaining song shoots are expected to be wrapped up by February.
“Peddi” is a sports action drama set against the backdrop of the Uttarandhra region and boasts an impressive ensemble cast including Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, Viji Chandrasekhar, and Boman Irani. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner, Peddi is slated for a theatrical release on March 27, 2026.
