Poonam Kaur on the Supreme Court’s verdict on abortion

Actress Poonam Kaur has an interesting take on Thursday’s Supreme Court order. In a groundbreaking judgment, Supreme Court on Thursday ruled that all women – married or unmarried – are entitled to seek abortion till 24 weeks of pregnancy.

Reacting to this order, Poonam Kaur shared her thoughts. She supported the verdict. But she also asked women not to use the power of reproducing as a weapon for selfish gains.

Read what she said…

Great I am in support – A woman has every right to decide what she wants to do with the child whether married or unmarried – having said I have seen women impregnate themselves to keep the marriage and their financial security where the man has to suffer all his life in many ways – women should not be using this power of reproducing as a weapon for selfish reasons.

There actually should be a ruling that churches and varied religious places Should have no say in this too , have heard of many orthodox institutions involving in act as personal as abortion .
