Prabhas: If I slap hard, it will be a sixer

Prabhas had interacted with Hyderabad media a day after the trailer launch of ‘Saaho’ in Mumbai. Prabhas said he didn’t want to give two years to ‘Saaho’ but it happened like that. “I know my fans wanted me to complete films quickly and release at least one movie a year but Saaho has action sequences that are on par with international standards and it required a lot of time”, he said. 

There is a dialogue about sixer and cricket game in cricket. When media men asked did he hit a sixer in real life, he quipped, “If I slap hard anyone, it is like sixer.”

How did he trust Sujeeth’s directorial capabilities in making this mammoth movie given the fact that he did direct just one small budgeted movie? “True. I had some doubts on the first day. We began the first day’s shoot with a difficult action stunt. I was stunned that he did pull it off well. Thus I believed his skills,” Prabhas said. 

“Yes, I dubbed myself in Hindi. I took special training for dialogues though I speak the language,” Prabhas replied to a query. 

He also said that Rajamouli liked the trailer. But it was Chiranjeevi’s message that made him jump with joy. “Megastar Garu messaged me after watching the trailer. And I called on his mobile and thanked him for appreciating our efforts,” Prabhas informed the media.

‘Saaho’ hits screens on August 30. The film also stars Shraddha Kapoor who was also present at the Hyderabad media interaction. She heaped praise on Prabhas. “He is an amazing actor. He blushes if I say this. But it is a fact that he’s an incredible star,” she said. What was her reaction when she was offered this film? “I am really surprised this role came to me. I have got a terrific role and I just followed what Sujeeth told me to do,” she further said.
