Prashanth Neel discloses his favorite director

It is indisputable that Prashanth Neel propelled Kannada cinema to the world stage. Until “KGF” movies hit theaters, Kannada cinema was known as a tiny film industry. However, Neel delivered the first pan-Indian blockbusters from Kannada cinema.

With the Prabhas-starring film “Salaar,” he secured his position as a big director. He’ll be making “Salaar 2” next, followed by NTR’s movie.

He recently appeared on a show where he talked about his favorite people in the film industry. When asked who his favorite director was, Prashanth Neel gave an unequivocal answer “Upendra”. 

“Despite the obstacles, Upendra directed three films that covered vastly different genres: Shhh!, A, and Om. No director in the world can make such films as he did,” Prashanth Neel stated.

He went on to declare that his favorite actor is Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, while his favorite actress of all time is Sridevi.
