Priya Prakash Varrier, who took the social media by a storm with her viral wink, is now facing flak for her first film ‘Lover’s Day’ (dubbed version of Malayalam movie “Oru Adaar Love”. Expectations were high on her debut since she became darling of social media, but she got to play an absurd role in the movie. And the much-hyped wink act and lip-lock didn’t entice the youth in the film, as it is pretty unwatchable.
Tollywood filmmakers were eager to cast her in after the release of ‘Lover’s Day”. Before the release, she demanded Rs 1 Cr remuneration. But now, they are not showing much interest. It remains to be seen whether she would be signed for Nani’s new film to be directed by Vikram Kumar.
Her acting skills are awfully bad in the movie though she has stunning looks.
