The remake rights of Kangana Ranaut starrer Bollywood blockbuster ‘Queen’ were bagged by Tamil filmmaker Thiagarajan. He has been trying to remake the movie in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages with different cast members since 2014. Finally, he roped in Tamannah for the Tamil version as heroine and he launched the movie in the direction of veteran actress turned director Revathy.
But now the remake has landed in trouble. Tamannha has already confirmed that she is not doing the film. She also further added that the remake has completely been shelved. But producer Thiagarajan blames Tamannah for the latest issues. He said the movie is still very much on but Tamannah is not part of the project.
As per his statement, it was Tamannah who caused the trouble. He said she has been dropped from the movie, as the remuneration quoted by her could not be afforded. It is not clear whether she demanded more remuneration after the movie’s launch.
