Producers run after Rashmika

Money is literally wooing Rashmika Mandanna.  Why not, when she has delivered two hits already this year?  ‘Chalo’ was a sleeper hit early this year.  Rashmika’s charms and performance played a role in making the Naga Shaurya film a good experience.  Cut to August, ‘Geetha Govindam’, a potential Rs. 50 Cr movie, is creating a box-office sensation.  

These two films have made the Kannada girl a much sought-after damsel.  Producers are learned to be offering her huge amounts.  The actress is quite choosy about the kind of roles she does.  She did ‘Geetha Govindam’ only because it’s important to the story.  Also, director Parasuram was ready to stall the shoot of the rom-com for three months because Rashmika’s dates were not available!

Rashmika has two more films to prove her true mettle.  Come September 27, she will have to make a mark in a film starring Nagarjuna and Nani.  This is not easy but ‘DevaDas’ might just make her bigger.  The beauty is also doing ‘Dear Comrade’, once again starring Vijay Deverakonda.  This time, expectations from the duo will be super-high for sure.
