Prudhvi's son says his mother is being misled

’30 Years Industry’ Prudhvi has been ordered by Vijayawada family court to pay a monthly alimony of Rs 8 lakhs to his wife Sri Lakshmi (47). The couple have been living separately, Sri Lakshmi who resides in Vijayawada filed a complaint as per IPC Section 498A in September last year.

Married way back in 1984, their marital life was doing well until Prudhvi allegedly started going wayward. Sri Lakshmi had complained that her husband started ill-treating her and even shunned out from the household. She accused him of maintaining sexual affairs with various women.

Prudhvi, who is a leading comedian in Tollywood now, has two children with her. Their son, who is a software employee, defends his father. He issued a video message today (June 29). He said that his mother seems to be under the evil influence of some brain washers. Saying that his mother has always been innocent, he denied that his parents have had major family issues. “They definitely have some issues which are normal for any married couple’s life. They can be sorted out easily. But it is unfortunate that my mother approached family court under the influence of some relatives,” he said.

“My father is a pubic personality. He will now be questioned by one and all. That’s why I am giving this statement. My father struggled a lot to make a mark in the film industry.  He will address the press once he is back from his foreign shoot schedule,” he further stated.

Prudhvi, who also hails from Vijayawada, is now residing in Hyderabad and having many films on hand. He is busiest comedian today. His personal life has been in the news from long time.
