Puri to announce Ananya's name shortly

It was Telugucinema.com that first reported that Bollywood actress Ananya Panday has been cast opposite Vijay Deverakonda in Puri Jagannadh’s movie when Janhvi Kapoor turned down the offer owing to a clash of dates. Puri Jagannadh has already completed the first schedule with Vijay Deverakonda and Ramya Krishna, who is playing the mother’s role. The new schedule will commence on 14th February in Mumbai.

It is expected that Puri Jagannadh would announce Ananya Panday’s name in this new schedule. She will join the shoot next month.

The film is the first collaboration between Puri Jagannadh and Bollywood producer Karan Johar. Charmee is overseeing all the production work. Puri and Charmee have created their own office named Adda in Mumbai.
