Puri repays a bit and promises to compensate fully
‘Liger’ is one of the biggest duds the Telugu film industry has seen. Due to the hype surrounding the project before the release, distributors bought it for hefty prices. But the film bombed on the first day. The collections went to near zero on the second day itself.
Directed by Puri Jaganandh, the Vijay Deverakonda starrer left distributors in heavy losses. Now, Puri has started compensating them.
He deposited money in the accounts of a couple of distributors. As of now, a fraction of the amount was deposited. Puri Jagannadh, however, promised all the distributors to compensate fully for the agreed amount in two months.
Puri Jaganandh and Charmee do not want to lose the trust of their distributors. Plus, they made good money from non-theatrical deals.
