Rahul to direct Akhil, not Nag!

Actor Rahul Ravindran won appreciation for his maiden directorial ‘Chi La Sow’, a love story that starred Sushanth. Impressed by his narrative skills, Nagarjuna offered him a film and had asked him to prepare a script.

Accordingly, Rahul wrote a script and has narrated to Nagarjuna recently. Much to the director’s disappointment, Nag rejected the story saying it would not suit me at all. However, Nag promised him to produce on his banner Annapurna Studios if Akhil likes the same story. The script will suit for younger stars like his son Akhil, Nag told Rahul.

Nagarjuna wants to play matured characters. He doesn’t want to play ‘Manmadhudu’ roles at all.

So, Rahul Ravindran will not be directing Nagarjuna.
