Gunnam Gangaraju produced Aithey introduced talented technicians like director Chandrasekhar Yeleti, music director Kalyani Koduri and cinematographer Senthil Kumar to the Telugu film industry. The movie that was released 15 years ago is now having a new version, which is to be directed by Raj Madiraju, who earlier directed movies like ‘Rushi’, ‘Andhra Pori.
“I did films with different subjects earlier. ‘Aithe 2.0’ is a techno thriller, which focuses on the ill effects of technology and social media on youth. Though the young people today are not concerned about their surroundings being immersed in social networking, someone is watching them. Who is it? The film will discuss about it,” the director said in a statement.
He also added that he took permission from Gunnam Gannaraju to use the title. Cast and crew details will be announced shortly.
