At last, Rajamouli has opened up about his next film. His next film will not have VFX-orientation. Speaking to TV9, leading Telugu news channel, the top director said his next drama would not put stress on the visual effects. He is popular in India for making movies with high-end graphics.
S S Rajamouli’s last film ‘Baahubali 2’ smashed all records in India. The movie collected a gross of nearly Rs 1680 cr worldwide, thus becoming the second highest grossing Indian movie ever after ‘Dangal’.
Recently reports came in that he would direct a small-budgeted film as his next. To this query, Rajamouli replied: “Not true. It will not have orientation of visual-effects. Just because there won’t be visual effects, it doesn’t mean that it is going to be a small film. It can be big-budgeted movie sans vfx.”
When asked about, which hero would act in this flick, Rajamouli came up with answer that he not yet decided about this. “I told my father to write a story that has more stress on emotional core. Emotions have always been our strength. Once he’s done with it, rest will be decided,” he put rest to all the speculations about casting.
Rajamouli is back in India. His father Vijayendra Prasad writes stories for his movies.
