Rajamouli's cousin hoping for a hit!

Writer S S Kanchi, younger brother of music composer M M Keeravani and cousin of top director Rajamouli, has turned director. He penned Rajamouli’s two movies – ‘Maryada Ramanna’ and ‘Eega’ which were huge hits.

But S S Kanchi lost the name that he earned with those movies with the film ‘Emo Gurram Egaravachchu’ to which he wrote story and dialogues. The movie was disaster at the box-office.

Now, he is trying his hand at direction. His maiden film, Showtime, is a thriller and the teaser was recently released. Will he make a mark as a director? Keeravani and other big names are backing the movie.
