The song “Chikiri Chikiri” featuring Ram Charan has already taken social media by storm. Now, choreographer Jani Master has revealed an interesting secret behind its most talked-about hook step.
Speaking at a dance show, Jani Master said that the popular ‘bat step’ in this song was actually conceived by Ram Charan himself.
He revealed that the way Charan holds the bat and performs those quirky movements was entirely the actor’s idea. Not only did Charan suggest it, but he also rehearsed the step on his own and demonstrated it to Jani Master, convinced that it would click with audiences.
Jani Master turned emotional while recalling the moment. He said Ram Charan, despite coming up with the step, generously gives full credit to choreographers, reflecting his large-hearted nature.
“Chikiri Chikiri” is from Ram Charan’s upcoming film “Peddi”, directed by Buchi Babu. The song is composed by AR Rahman and features Ram Charan alongside Janhvi Kapoor. “Peddi” is slated for release in April 2026.
