Sharwanand was so thrilled with the script narration by director Venu Udugula that he has immediately given his nod to it. This happened few months ago. Sai Pallavi too has liked the story and gave her dates to this director. However, the film has now moved to Rana from Sharwanand.
For some reason, Sharwanand let it go from his hands. Although Rana has not given his official nod yet, his father Suresh Babu reportedly okayed the project as he liked the period story. The film is going to be set in Telangana region in 90’s.
Venu Udugula shot to fame with his maiden movie ‘Needi Naadi Oke Katha’. He has unique style and tells the stories with realistic approach.
Rana has not signed any new Telugu movie after the release of Teja’s ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’ as he has been finishing off his other assignments in Tamil and Hindi languages. Meanwhile, he has also wrapped up NTR Biopic in which he is appearing in a guest role. He plays Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s character.
If Rana really teams up with Venu Udugula it would be an interesting combination.
