Ravi Teja enters crowded August race with Irumudi

August 2026 is shaping up to be a crowded month for Telugu cinema, with several star-driven films eyeing release dates. While Nani, Sharwanand, and Dulquer Salmaan have already locked August releases for their upcoming projects, Ravi Teja is now set to join the race.

Ravi Teja’s upcoming film “Irumudi”, directed by Shiva Nirvana, is currently being shot in Hyderabad. The production is progressing at a brisk pace, and the makers are targeting an August 2026 theatrical release.

With a major portion of the shoot nearing completion, the team has begun planning its promotional campaign.

Following the release of “Peddi”, the makers are expected to kick off musical promotions with the first single, “Malle Poola Pallaki”. The song is composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, who is scoring the film’s soundtrack.

“Irumudi” which is set in coastal Andhra backdrop has Priya Bhavani Shankar as the heroine. Mythri Movie Makers is producing the film.
